Digital trainings were completed as a result of collaboration between YÖK and CISCO as part of the Council of Higher Education's (YÖK) "Digital Transformation in Higher Education Project" last year. Dr. M. Nevzat Örnek, Agricultural Machinery Program lecturer at Konya Technical University (KTUN), has gained the opportunity to complete the program.

 

The teleconference certificate ceremony was attended by YÖK President Prof. Dr. M. A. Yekta Saraç, Rector of Konya Technical University Prof. Dr. Babür Özçelik and lecturer Dr. M. Nevzat Örnek attended the ceremony.

 

On March 16, 2020, CISCO Network Academy provided free certificate training on "cyber security" and "network management" to a group of academicians from Bursa Technical, Erzurum Technical, Eskisehir Technical, İskenderun Technical, Konya Technical, Hitit, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa, and Yozgat Bozok Universities, eight of which were newly established technical universities.

 

The academicians who got certifications in the project are expected to provide training to other academicians in their universities. In addition, in the Fall Term of the 2020-2021 Academic Year, it is planned to establish "Cyber Security" and "Network Management" courses for students at universities participating in the project.
